I tried putting Tmobile existing SIM in S25 FE and it didn't work. Phone had assigned ESim already tied to my Ported number on new S25 FE.

Your Phone's not registered on a network, so ou can only mak emergency calls.
so NO luck for me to use Tmobile sim on S25 FE

First i ordered the the stylus with free #. Then after delivery i was able to add another stylus for $35. Then after the delivery, i tried to add the s25 fe with port in but got the error to call Metro. Tried to get another free stylus and got the same error. After 2 days, today i called metro and she was able to order the s25 fe for $143.86 including tax.
Excellent datapoint share.
Do existing metro customers (like us who paid $65 for the stylus with free #) get to purchase the s25 fe for the "port in" price? Or it's still "free new#" price with a "port in" but $35 plan works?
I got it for the port in price. $100 for the phone and $35 for the line. Just got the shipping confirmation. It was shipped the same day. I used infimobile for $5 to port out.

i am sure infini mobile is fine, and lots of success stories here.
but i also read some bad reviews.
to anyone that cares:
yesterday i bought a twigby esim plan with my son esim phone.
Paid $8 with tax !
Asked for a port out pin from Twigby.
Twigby promptly cancelled the line claiming fraud.
lol...sucks for me..but understandable since customer looking for port out pin soon after getting a number. perhaps i shold have waited a day or 2
I dont think i am gonna try and get this s25fe deal with port in.
already wasted time and now money.

Received S25 FE today without any physical SIM which I got with my Motorola Stylus 2025.

Thanks for being the first real datapoint in the thread. Are you planning on just holding onto it for 1 year for the SIM unlock in this case?
- Disable eSim
- reset the network settings
- Shut down the phone
- Put the T-Mobile SIM
- Restart the phone
However, I need to wait until I receive the Samsung A9+ Tablet and activate it before testing the above steps.- Disable eSim

Can You explain how to to infimobile port out? My understanding is buy 1 month infimobile (esim?) but How long do you have to wait to port out? Any fees for porting out too soon? TIA
From my limited testing based on my metro s25 that is running tmobile (also from metro) I found that/steps:
1) If the esim is already activated (via transfer/website) it seems like there is nothing you can do (which seems to happen to the 3rd one).
2) If you insert your physical esim (before even turning on the phone and activating the esim on Metro's website), it will boot up into tmobile's splash page and run on tmobile's software (of course who knows if it'll unlock in 365 because it is on tmobile's version).
3) After turning on the phone and making sure everything goes through, calls, texts, data, etc. I went to Metro's website and click on activate phone.
It has been roughly 2 days since my family received the phone and has been working for them on tmobile. Of course the other one is just going into the drawer until it unlocks in 1 year. Will update if it happens to lock to metro again anytime in between, but if not, assume it is still running on tmobile's system.
Of course it does seem YMMV. But for some reason the 3rd phone activated (potentially from waiting too long to turn it on and it auto activates).
so u did u port in numbers on any of the three phones?

Wanted to update my experience with the s25FE. Bought 3 of them for family members and two of them seem to work with Tmobile out of the box and the third one did not. ....
interesting. i didnt think there was any chance these would work on TM, from day 1.

It seems like the key to it is:
(1) NOT activating the device on metro. This seems to be very time sensitive because they auto activate a certain time after seeing the package deliver.
(2) Insert a physical Tmobile Sim card before turning on the device (I'm using a deactivated physical tmobile sim card that has been switched to esim for my other phone), this has booted tmobile's software 3 out of 4 times so far (the 1/4 already had the esim activated).
(3) Make sure data, calling, texting works (I placed an actual Tmobile sim in here to verify).
(4) Go to metro's website, put in your order #, zip code, last name, and then click activate, make sure the phone sees it, apply the esim, and then remove it completely (may not be necessary on the last part, but I did it just in case).

why would 2 not be activated and 1 was activated.
the process is the same...right ?
was the first one u bought activated and the other 2 bought at a later time not activated?
were the 2 from Visisble not activated and the 1 rom boost acitavted?
makes no sense
