Still seems overpriced even at 4,000. Prices on 5090s have been dropping to MSRP. That and pairing a 5090 with a 285K seems to be an interesting choice.

Got lucky got it for $3000 open box at Microcenter Dallas. I reserved 2 and picked one of them.

Yea still a slight markup when I did it for msrp on pc partpicker. It's like $3700 if you want to factor in the 5090 is like $2200 or $2300 gpu.

It's capable sure, but Ryzen from a benchmark perspective blows it out of the water. And I've always been an Intel guy myself, but man AMD is heavily surpassing them in gaming performance. We're not talking about just a few percent difference either, some games are upwards of 20-40% better.
