Strange that a staff posted deal for what you say is normal sale price (from hp via newegg) would be front page with only 15 upvotes.

My memory is a little hazy, but I think when there was a period when HP first discontinued the x27q, the first Omen branded 27q was basically the x27q with a new outer casing. That doesn't appear to be the case anymore. This monitor is slightly different than the very first ones. My apologies.

Are these decent monitors? I'd like to get 3 of something for a new job where I'll be doing a lot of monitoring.. It's it based so servers down, log analysis.. Etc... I didn't know if it was worth spending this much on 3 of these or getting something else.
