I have one of these at my main door. It's great. Only advice is to not use the hardware that come with it. They are too small and not strong enough. Do yourself a favor and buy longer ones from HD or lowes.

Damn this is a steal - I purchased mine for $17 3 years ago for the main front door. Rare opportunity during inflation. At this price, had to pull the trigger - I have two other doors in the house that can be better secured.

I've had these for years in my houses. Not too long ago, I saw a video where someone defeats this by using a shim created from a milk can.

We might need to re-inforce the reinforcement.
