No trade-in is only if you buy something from them. If you buy this, you have to sell privately on Ebay/Swappa. That's the downside.
I've traded in a number of products that I did not buy direct from Samsung with no problem. This comment is incorrect.
The comment I replied to said why cant you buy this and trade-in. Because Samsung wont send you cash, trade-in is for a new device through them.

It really comes down to what design you like better. But the Pixel is the better internal hardware in my opinion. Samsung really has done nothing in 2 years now with its hardware, and is pretty disappointing. Didnt upgrade my Watch 7 and see no reason to sidegrade to an Ultra which is the same watch internals with a bigger battery in a different casing.

Thank you. Never had a problem either trading in a Samsung product that wasn't purchased directly from the Samsung website.

A trade-in in credit toward a new watch you bought directly from Samsung, they wont mail you cash as the comment I replied to suggested.
