Samsung EDU/EPP Store has the 16" Galaxy Book 5 Pro w 32GB Ram and 1TB SSD for $1105 after $450 instant savings (no trade-in necessary).

This is the lowest price I've seen this laptop. I personally own this laptop and it is excellent.

Memory is not expandable, but it has two SSD slots and the bottom cover is easily removable.

FYI, Samsung (seems like an AI attendant these days) will offer you a discount if you request a return.

They offered me 10%. Only annoying thing is they'll also say there is a 5% restocking fee if you decide you want a return. Checking the return policy, Samsung has indeed updated the fine print to say that there is a restocking fee on Galaxy Books. You can probably push back and get the fee waved with a human, especially if there is an issue with the laptop.

If I needed a really nice laptop at the moment, this would be it. Especially if you can get it to around $1,000.

My Galaxy Book5 Pro setup with a 16" UPerfect UColor O2 Oled monitor, mounted to my DIY knockoff Ternsetups-style magnetic tripod mount. Awesome mobile setup that came in handy this week for a Business Intelligence class. 2x 16" of 2880x1800 AMOLED multitasking goodness.

I bought Galaxy book 4 and it died all of sudden last month. No power, no charging. Fortunately this happened was before 1 year warranty. Samsung cs had me send it for repair. They replaced the motherboard and got mine back in about 10 business days from NJ repair center. I had to get to ssd by opening the back panel which was painful and made the back up, however my hdd was not accessible. What a pain, keep this in mind always make a back up to your cloud
