LED on my Alt key died a while back but otherwise it's been lovely.

couldn't agree more. the keyboard is awesome, but their choice in making the keycaps completely transparent was a bad decision. if i didn't have the keyboard layout memorized, this keyboard would be impossible to use. i really wish they included a "standard" set of keycaps that allow the light to only shine through the character on the key instead of shining through the entire thing. or at the very least, make the font on the keycaps black instead of that cream color. maybe if it was black, it'd result in the inverse of a typical backlit keycap.
Yeah the real issue is stuff like the F keys or the odd ball special character that I don't have memorized lol I had a spare set of keycaps laying around that I tested swapping out some keys it definately helps. So I'll probably poke around on like drop or something to find a set or two that I like.and mix it up.
i switched to this keyboard after using a Drop Sense75 which had north-facing keycaps, so i used a set of pudding keycaps that had caps that were completely transparent on top, but had black wrapped around every side of the keycaps except for the shine-through character like this: https://www.reddit.com/media?url=...ms
i'd hate to swap the keycaps out on this board since that's kind of the entire reason of purchasing it... but i think eventually i'll end up using another set of pudding keycaps on this because it's such a bad experience otherwise. i have a spare set of HyperX pudding keycaps on a SteelSeries TKL keyboard that i'll probably use first, before i use the same ones i had on the Sense75.
