I believe this is the lowest they have gone on their site for the Rapid PLA+. This is more per KG than some of the recent Ali deals, but IMO this is one of the better PLA's and I use it almost exclusively along with their PLA +.

I mean, if you could get colors without black and white and if you needed 10 kg, sure. But forcing you to get mostly black and white makes it mediocre since you can get 2 kg of black for 25 cents more a kg and 2 kg of white for 50 cents more a kg from Amazon all day, from Deeplee brand. Which is exactly the same filament. I'd rather just get the 2 pack instead of paying more now for a very very small discount and having to store it.

I guess it depends on how much you print. Perhaps some people love Elegoo filament but don't like Deeplee. Dunno. YMOV

I added more colors. Didn't see them initially as they were under a different link.
Are you 100% sure Deplee is the same? I did try a couple rolls a little while back when I saw them in the $10-$12 range. My experience was not great with it. Honestly, part of the reason I tried it is because it looked the same as Elegoo based on their packaging/pictures lol.
While I likely haven't been printing as long as you and many others, I did/do kind of go filament crazy and am up to 220+ unique ones on my spreadsheet. For anything under the Polymaker price range, Elegoo Rapid PLA followed by their PLA+ have been my top choices for PLA. I do like Sunlu/Jayo as well in the budget territory but their colors are a bit muted compared to Elegoo.

Odd, I go back and forth between Deeplee PLA+ and Landu PLA+ as being my go-to brand for black, white and Grey. Can get them for around pretty much $10/kg consistently, sometimes cheaper if they are on Haul.

Not the original stater of this but 100% Deeple and Elegoo are the same company and the exact same product. You used to click on the Deeple store on Amazon and it took you to Elegoo which you can't do unless your the same company. They offer 100% overlap in products and as a 40+ printer farm we use them both and they are identical products, packaged identically and they come from the same distribution centers packed in the same crappy way often times extra boxes are tapped to the sides.
A newbie question here. Which brand is better, elegoo or sunlu? Or any other brand. I once used a cheap filament, it broke into many pieces inside the hot end and the connection box. That was a nightmare for a beginner to fix it. And that teach me to pay attention to the brand name now.

Filament breaks when it has a high moisture content. Many people use driers to prevent it. I personally only keep a couple rolls of filament on hand and keep them in my safe because it has a dehumidifier, I also have a de humidifier running in my home and run the ac when humidity levels are high. That said, most people I know consider sunlu one of the best brands. Elegoo is also considered very good. No issues with it and prices are often better than sunlu.
