I had the sole of 2 pairs separate entirely after virtually no use. One separated the first time I wore them, on a light walk. Probably not indicative of the product in general, but still ...

Same experience with 574s but my 993s lasted 14 years before the sole cracked in half. Try E6000 glue to reattach the soles, stuff the shoe with socks and wrap tightly with a rag or old T-shirt so it sticks

could be that it sat unused or in a shelf for years. my friend is a sneaker head and says if you don't wear your collection regularly, the shoe will fall apart starting with the soles coming off.

They say "synthetic upper," but that definitely looks like suede to me.
