dude I am asking because tennis shoes is often used as generic term for any joke/walk around shoes. I am looking for proper tennis sports playing shoes. Please try to assimilate the context.

Yes these are real hard court tennis shoes for serious play. Lotto is a reputable athletic wear company and many pro tennis players use it. These specific shoes are on the higher cushion side, extremely thin top to be very breathable. A bit on the heavy side but pretty tough for hard court. Decent but not a lot of toe guard for toe draggers (sounds so insulting...). Semi wide.

p.s. higher cushion is nice but more risk of ankle roll. Still these are wide purpose built tennis shoes and for someone without ankle issues, should be fine.

I just got these for my daughter who plays high school tennis. These might be a backup but we'll see. She's still on her current shoes (Babolat Jet Tere)
