I hate that they tie these discounts to premium unlimited. I've had regular unlimited for a couple of years and it works perfectly fine for me and my whole family. This is the reason I've sat out the past two years and just held onto my iPhone 14 Pro.
Get an unlimited line for free for a year with Spectrum home internet and trade in a basic smartphone to get like $700 off an S25...
Then, roll that in to the S25+/Ultra.
I did 3 of those this past year, sold 2 after they unlocked (60 days) for money in my pocket and kept the 3rd as a free device, with free service.

that too on an Unlimited line only. this is not a deal. it's a joke
Are you not planning on using a cell phone for the next 2 years?
Think about this way... you can get 2x $1100 phones so $2,200 of phones with premium unlimited data for $1,920 ($80 * 24) over 2 years...
you'd see the catch how Xfinity is giving you a mirage of a deal. In 24 months you end up paying much more.

Xfinity Total
1100 - 400 + (50*24) + 25 (one time fee) = $1925
MVNO + Apple Buy
1100 + 360 (eg Mint 24 month 5Gb plans) = $1460
the premium unlimited plan requirement makes you pay more vs if you buy from Apple and use MVNO plan.
Att prepaid(300+300)=$600 ( $550 if u use prepaid cards for 16gb plan)
Used apple gift cards (bought from target, amazon) =$200 less——> iphone 17 pro $900
Final price: $550+ $900 =$1,450
Traded in my iphone 12 pro for $210 with apple
the catch is that it's tied to Xfinity Premium unlimited for two years. if you cancel you pay full price and lose remaining discount.

Booked an appointment.. Walked into store... Mentioned i want to exchange my iPhone 14 pro for 17 pro...
Since 14 pro was fully paid off.. got $1100 off the new one with monthly credits. So free phone :-)
Paid $45+ for the first month (Will be reimbursed once i send my trade in back)
Walked out with Orange iPhone 17 pro in 15 mins. All went smooth.
Note: I am very close to state with no sales tax. That is the reason for not placing order online. I saved almost $70 in tax.
You're over the total amount you can have on device payment plans.
Up to $2,000.00 on device payment plans
$1,099.99 in cart
$1,150.00 yet to be paid off (details in account)
anyone else able to bypass this?

Do some back of the napkin calculation for Unlimited plan cost + device payment VS. independent purchase + MVNO plans.

I switched mine to premium unlimited in evening, then next day morning I was able to see monthly credits for my 14 pro. Until then it was only $260+ one time credit showing up.
