At 3 lb, this is not ultralight. It's an affordable option if you don't really care about the weight I suppose, but REI's Flexlite goes on sale routinely around this price, and it's 1 lb 11 oz. My personal recommendation for a true ultralight chair is the Helinox Chair Zero (1 lb), but that's quite a bit more expensive.

I have an REI Flexlite Air but I usually bring a sturdier chair when I can since it feels like my fat ass is going to break the Air if I sit down at full force

agree. it is only good for backpacking.

no direct experience, but you may want to wear a karpa to sit for a long period of time in a cold weather. Also the pointy legs mean they are better on solid ground.
