In stock and shipping as of now. Friend ask me if I could find one instead of waiting for the ones on back order from Amazon. This store has no taxes either for shipping to where I live. So I ended up paying about $25 in shipping which makes this cheaper than buying off Amazon.

You're an idiot if you you buy this now unless your old video card kicked the bucket and you have to buy one. The Super refresh of the 5000 series cards is due this fall, much more VRAM for around the same cost. The Super 5000 series will be much more future proof with that extra VRAM.
The xx80 was refreshed as a Super with the 2xxx series and the 4xxx series and not any other time. They were refreshed due to "issues" with the card. The 5080 is not even rumored to have a Super refresh this time either. It is only the 5070ti, 5070, and 5060 that are rumored to get a refresh. Also, as I pointed out in a different threads, the prices on these cards aren't going to drop below MSRP. They didn't for the 3080 nor the 4080 cards. Both were due to demand that was not gamer related. Same thing is happening with the 5xxx cards. The chances of the 5xxx cards going on sale for a significant amount under MSRP before the next cards are out is unlikely. This is again due to outside market forces that are from other government entities because of the AI capabilities of the higher end versions of these cards. So getting a good 5080 card at MSRP and not having to pay tax on it is a pretty good deal.
Is it really necessary to post 'deals' for 5-series GPUs at MSRP anymore? It's been a while now that they are available at Micro Center and other online retailers for the normal price. AMD are the only ones still inflated very slightly from MSRP but those are also starting to come back down as well.

What rock have you been living under? [tomshardware.com] That's one reputable website among many who have published articles on it.
Living under a rock? I guess you didn't read the more recent rumor news on the walk back of the 5080 Super rumor of it being far after the others. Originally the rumor was that it was coming out this holiday season. The same people that brought the rumors originall now all say the other supers besides the 5080 aren't going to come out until after CES. Which is why Nvidia has announced the refreshes historically. The 5080 is still syaing it be last to release if at all. Going off past experiences, when that happens then the card usually doesn't come out. Also the original rumors said the refreshes would be same MSRP, and now they are saying higher prices for the refreshes. With the 5080 refresh if it comes out being $200 higher.
Even then, the Super refresh is still all rumors. There has been no official word on these cards at all. Rumors also tend to be wrong on the release timelines by a lot. The 5xxx card were rumored to be released in early 2024 and didn't come out until 2025.

Thank you for posting this - Although I didn't purchase this - it is a great find - for those of us in states with state taxes this is a great deal as the cost of shipping is far less than the cost of tax and free shipping at most other vendors. Hell I have a Microcenter nearby and this purchase is a hefty chunk of change cheaper (for those that don't know - the vendor is not always obligated to collect taxes and remit to states, but the state residence is obligated to state any taxes owed when they file taxes)
ANYWHO - I ended up purchasing a 5070 ti thru Central Computer and am happily awaiting a decently priced deal for myself
