It's going to take a while just to open any app.

No, it's not. It's a horrible deal, calling these specs bottom of the barrel would be doing it a favor.

Basic web acess @ 12W TDP and supports Windows 11. At least it's a modern CPU, but only a 5000mAh battery.

I can't imagine running Windows on this thing; the CPU is really low and 8GB is pretty much the lowest usable amount of memory. However I wonder if you could run a lower-footprint Linux distro on this and have a decent experience for some really basic browsing, watching Netflix, etc.

This could be used in place of a mini pc as a Home Assistant server with battery backup or some other app.

I've had bad experience with AceMagic returns, they wouldn't reply to emails regularly, and couldn't find my returned package. Paypal saved the day and got me my refund.

I did a quick passmark benchmark search on this N97 4 e-cores 4 threads 1 memory channel CPU.

Passmark benchmark isn't the best benchmark but it's available to most of the CPUs and there are a lot of samples to reduce errors.

N97 is actually faster than my i7-7500U 2 cores 4 threads in both single thread and multi. thread performance.

I know it is still slow in today's standard. But it will still run a student's school work just fine.

This ^^^^^. All the comments about the N97 not being able to handle Excel or web browsing are ridiculous. Yes, 8GB is not much by today's standards and yes, the N97 isn't super powerful, but they are more than enough for office tasks on Windows 11.

I can vouch for N97 you would be suprised how powerful this cpu is paired with DDR5 ram.
