Your title is wrong. This is not a "Mid Drive" ebike
The specs you listed is clearly states it is rear hub motor

I got one of these for my wife. It's a great beginner bike and let's her keep up. Battery is probably good for an hour ride.

I've commuted on mine about 25 miles a week for the past 3 years and purchased it for about $400+ coverage plan

Good stuff:
+great entry point
+bought the 3 year protection plan and didn't need it
+charge about once a week
+faster than a Radmission up a hill
+a milk crate added to the back rack hauls some great cargo
+no maintenance issues other than brakes (I'm on third set of pads in city riding)
+gears are better than single speed but rarely used
+fenders and rack included

The less good
-seat is hard, but I don't mind
-motor cuts out once a week while riding. It will come back after 30 seconds of pedaling or a quick off/on button push fixes if while riding. Maybe a sensor?

I added a phone holder, lights, and a bell and this is my go-to bike. Would I buy another? Sure, at this price. The mid-drive version with disc brakes looks nice too...but that's $1400.

I bought this bike in 2020 direct from Walmart with the Allstate Warranty at $399 list $799 as my first e-bike and put 8,000 miles on it. The warranty from Allstate reimbursed me for parts and repairs anywhere with no hassle including the battery. After 3 years I sold it for $300 and bought the Huffy Everett Plus wich has 350 watts, 2-year warranty(no extended warranty) and disk brakes, and I've had it for 2 years and 7,000 miles. It's on sale now for $400 - 20% with code bikeride20 but keeps going in and out of stock. I would buy either. Can't see any advantage to $1400 bikes with similar features. The Huffy is regularly listed at $1199, so it's not inflated for the sale.
They've replaced the battery and rear wheel with motor under warranty.
