I like mine as a wifi speaker. My family HATES the 'hey google' and wishes we'd go back to Alexa. They ask questions or for it to play something and they get "Sorry, I can't answer that. Try asking something else." For some reason Google seems not to support these and the voice assistant gets worse and worse over time with their devices; at least that's the conclusion of what I've read online when trying to make it work better.

This should be getting Gemini next month but Google is also announcing a new speaker as well. Still not a bad deal.

My kids gave up on it. We thought it was because we are on Apple Music and not Spotify or YT music.

I'm on Home Assistant/Music Assistant, and things are great. I'm eventually going to get the voice that Nabu Casa has so that we can get voice control on devices again.

They support them. The Gemini update is rolling out shortly which should make the interaction 100 fold better
