They had dropped to $42 the other day, but it's gone back up. This is about $25 cheaper than the cheapest price on other sites.

I bought a pair at $42 and they arrived today, and they are indeed for men or women, not specifically a women's shoe. The sizes on the item page also show the men-women equivalent sizes for each selection.

edit - these also came with white and pale lime green shoelaces in addition to the pink ones pictured. My other pair of KD17's didn't come with alternate laces that I remember.

FYI, in general, shoe companies sell their basketball shoes as unisex with women's generally being 1.5 sizes larger (ie if you wear a 9w, buy 7.5 mens). very few basketball shoes are specifically made for women.
