I hadn't even heard of a ceramic safety blade like this before, and after looking around a bit, I think this one may be a better option [amazon.com].
Seems to do the same job, costs less, is spring-loaded to avoid cutting yourself if you toss it in a bag, and has a replaceable blade. The replacement blades are stupid expensive for some reason ($20 for a 3 pack), but since it's removable, you can at least flip the included blade around and use the other side.
My wife got a couple of these free with another purchase. Packing tape gives them a run for their money
But it is one of those. I won't pay for this thing. But give it to me for free. No problem kind of items.
