FYI I had one of these and they had a recall for steam escaping - not sure this was affected but to be honest, mine died after only a handful of uses so IMO these are not good anyway.

since it's from the manufacturer they would have to address the recall before selling these. the short life is concerning, but I just need it for a couple days to remove the bubbling tint on my back windshield. thanks for the heads up, maybe I'll bite anyway!

Allstate warranty process is pretty painless if it does fail.

Cut a black trashbag in half. Park car so window in question is in the sun. Mist window, press bag against misted side. Let sit in sun for 10 minutes, peel off tint and adhesive in 1 shot. Easy peasy. There's videos on YouTube.

Yup, I had a roborock die on me a month before the 2-year allstate warranty expired and they fully refunded me.
