I'll never buy another large item from Aliexpress again. Currently dealing with a defective 3D printer that Aliexpress is trying to tell me I need to pay my own return shipping for. The shipping costs $100, which is over half the cost of the printer. PayPal is trying to tell me it's Aliexpress's policy and standard practice for the buyer to pay return shipping. Now having to file a chargeback through my credit card.

Got the Ladped lp60 last month. I've ran through the battery 4 or 5 times so far since I got it last month. I just blast around the neighborhood or cul-de-sac for fun. Put some sweet underglow on mine, also from AliExpress. The kids in the neighborhood are jealous. Its a Xaomi 365 clone. If you don't mind it slowing down to 11 mph up slight hills and 9 mph up steeper hills, get it.

I think this would be cool to keep in my car And when I want to Go somewhere downtown I can park further away where the parking is free and use this to get to my destination, but what would I do with it once I do get to my destination? Lock it to a bike rack or something?

Looking to get an electric scooter for the first time and don't know much about them. Was considering this LP60 based on the price, but reading comments here, a lot of people have recommended the LP80 (which seems to be about $25-$30 more) for the higher battery capacity.

Was about to buy the LP80, but then started researching into wheel types, suspension, etc... So what I understand is that the LP60/LP80 have no suspension and use solid tires so the rides can get pretty bumpy. I think I want to go with solid tires from a maintenance aspect, but would then want suspension to mitigate the solid tire disadvantage. Are bigger 10" wheels also worth it?

So are there better options that costs slightly more that I should consider? Looking to budget something around $200-$250, but less is always welcome. Should I be looking at the Ladped LPMAX (https://www.ladped.com/product/la...scooter/)? The page for this model though says it has "10" air tyre" so do they mean pneumatic tires? But elsewhere, I'm reading that this model comes with solid tires so confused on this point. Thanks for any suggestions.
I got two LP80's for my kids. They are great for them (10 and 13 yo girls). Plenty fast and with their light weight they don't even notice hills. Good brakes, silent operation, good size for them. I tried one for about a mile ride and I'm 6'5" and 220lbs. They are just too small and not powerful enough for me at all. Not even close. I could use it in a pinch but would likely never ride it. For an adult, especially a normal size dude, my opinion is you need 500w motors and while I do like the idea of solid tires for my kids for maintenance, I felt like my brain was in a blender riding theirs since I weigh more. I also did not feel safe in sport mode on theirs, I'm assuming because of the 8" wheels and solid tires. I see my kids having so much fun I wanted to ride with them. There's really two options, the LADPED LPMAX with solid 10" tires and the AOVOPRO ESMAX with air filled but they say they are filled with something to prevent flats. I got the ESMAX and love it. Used the same coupon code from these deals for $40 off. It's awesome and very smooth and much bigger than the LP80. I can go 22mph comfortably on rough roads. Highly recommend.

Purchased one, my son used it for 3 days and the motor is having issues. Also, silly things are different from similar products on Amazon. Like, the screw holes that are used to attach the handles to the steering shaft were not countersunk into the shaft, so the screws some loose easily and have to be tightened daily (son is 8, and 60lbs).
Mine were countersunk on the LP80 (same thing different battery) and the bolts had blue thread lock on them. No issues here. If you have a countersink bit would take 2 minutes to add if they forgot (for $100 I don't mind having to fix something here or there).

I got RIPPED OFF 320 dollars on 4070 video card on Alliexpress. The seller never answered emails closed his store after. Reported FRAUD to Paypal and they did pay it back
I've ordered 3 scooters from this store with no shipping issues. I know people have problems on AliExpress, but I like this scooter store.

Hopefully they will pass a law to require a driver's license for these. Kids are getting killed on these. These are dangerous when they ignore laws of the road.
I live in a city where half the population is the college community. Bicycles and e-scooters everywhere. I can assure you that both don't follow traffic laws. I've personally witnessed more incidents with bicyclists than e-scooters.

Mine arrived in a few days and seems well built (especially for $100!). Toping off the battery before I try it out, will report back if there are any issues.

Seatbelts, speed limits, licensing requirements, etc etc.Who is advocating for a ban on anything here?
Do you want licensing and insurance for walking, running, shoes? Don't be absurd. You know exactly what is going on here. Authoritarian regulations that effectively ban unfavored activities, all in favor making it easier to do the one activity that actually kills a million people worldwide. Absolutely depraved.

Got mine a few days ago and for the price I am very happy.

Speed is good I am usually getting about 14-15mph.
No suspension so commuting can be rough but for just playing around and doing short trips to the park you can't go wrong.

The battery life is definitely the weak point but I feel it's perfectly adequate for something fun.

I'm reading there's a better battery version id prob recommend that.
