I never knew that visible charges an additional service charge on top of the stated monthly plan price. I thought the stated price included all taxes and fees. Has anyone here been charged that minimum $5 fee?
So is it $225/yr + $5/month?
Minimum five dollars a month. I am not on visible at the moment, but have been in the past and was never charged an additional fee on top of the stated monthly price. I guess it's something new.

They have $19/mo promo plan and if you also have $20 referral credit then your monthly fee will not be $0 -- they'll charge min $5 for the month when combining both
If you have $29/mo plan then using $20 credit makes it $9/mo which is fine
Probably trying to compete with Mint Mobile (TMo) and US Mobile Dark Star (ATT) annual plan promos

That's their standard terms wording but $5 minimum monthly charge only applies to monthly plans when combining multiple discounts -- annual plans are paid in full upfront so no monthly charges and no refunds if you want to cancel or leave

So the chat support is lying? I specifically asked them and they verified that there will be an extra $5 per month connection fee that will be charged.
