I have the classic size of this battery and it does a great job at powering my older MacBook Pro (with diminished battery life) while also supporting pass through charging.

The reviews and comments do not mention this mini size supporting pass through charging, but I'll test this out when I receive the product. A great price for the mini size if it does indeed support my pass through use case.
