These are the 'dirty as hell shoes in 6 months' special.
I agree. I have a pair in a different pattern and the front part is slowly getting more and more dark but I still like the shoe.

Same here. The slip on aspect is nice also.

These should be used for nothing more than slip on shoes to walk around the house or out to the mailbox. That's it. They are not comfortable shoes for long periods of time.
I own four pairs and disagree. They are super comfortable. Only issue is the tread doesn't last long.
I agree the tread is really bad. Actually dangerous. Especially in the winter time. I've made the mistake of trying to walk up a steep icy paved surface and it actually had me laughing because I literally couldn't walk up it. I had to resort to walking on the snowy grass to have any chance. I've actually fallen wearing these shoes walking out to the garbage bin in the winter time. I learned not to use them in the winter time the hard way.
But I will say these shoes are adequate for times you need to slip on a pair of shoes to get the mail or if you're in the kitchen for a long time and don't want to be standing barefoot on tile (ouch!).
