fyi - one cannot use Visible service on a phone locked to Verizon because Visible requires all phones to be unlocked, even though it operates on Verizon's network.

Verizon do not need it to be activated for 2 months. You can activate the line and pay off the device . cancel next day. phone will be unlocked after 60 days. This is been tested by multiple users on Slickdeal.
