I'm active in the flashlight community, so I hear about promos before most people.
I've posted deals from Acebeam and Sofirn as well.
I can't, in good conscience, recommend brands like Olight, Coast, Nebo, Kodiak, or "big store" lights to anyone. So you won't see me post deals for those.
I would *love* to tell the world about Convoy flashlights, but they never go on sale because they're already at wholesale prices. So unfortunately, the Slickdeals universe will never know about them.

Lol - maybe someday, if they ever open up a US-based HQ. For now I'm just a flashlight nerd who's a sucker for good deals. Also:
I like Olight but honestly bit pricey for what you get but still nice units. Coast has nice units as well but their more affordable lights tend to be crap as they break with age.
Coast has good marketing - and that's about it. Their LEDs are horrific, unless you like 8000k beams with green tints. They used to be a major player, but much like Maglite, they failed to innovate when the rest of the industry did. They are surviving off of existing contracts with big chains, but most of their customers are older. They haven't been able to capture market share with younger generations, so the future doesn't look good for them.
Both companies have good customer support and warranties, but IMO that isn't enough to compensate for the downsides.
