I have this and it doesn't leak. I neither remove the battery nor the oil and it's fine.

The self oiling feature is not that big a deal, they usually end up leaking and make a bigger mess. With these saws being so small, how much cutting could you really do? The other one gives you a small squeeze bottle for oiling and a brush. I just manually lubricate the chain. Easy. And it has the second battery which, in my opinion, makes it the better deal.

arrived yesterday. today chopped a 50 year old jade. amazingly efficient. just ordered another. had to use an expired code to receive discount. with the weekly upkeep of our large yard if the two last a year I'll consider these a great deal. enjoy

I bought it and tried this one. It is an excellent tool ideally for 6-8 inches thick branches. It saves you a lot of time to use the hand saw

Try again. The first time it only took $7.20 for me too for some reason. I gave it a 2nd try and it just worked.

It's the correct code, but for some reason it didn't work the first time (it wouldn't have deducted $7 if it wasn't the correct code). It worked the 2nd time.

I just wanted to chime in that I bought this little chainsaw and it worked wonders. the chain fell off a few times but was relatively easy to fix. my only issue with it was that it didn't come with any oil, but a empty bottle. i put in some motor oil since i was too lazy to get the real stuff.

also, i'm left handed and this chainsaw is designed for right handed users.

bar and chain oil from Walmart. $6 for the little bottle and $11 for the gallon. Both can be found for 50% off in a few months. I would purchase the little bottle right now unless you were planning on cutting down a lot of branches and wait for the gallon to go on sale
