Nice price. I had a wave of CyberPower failures across my client base. So I'm off that brand currently. Worth noting: No muting button. The lower models do not have USB interface for your computer/NAS. This one DOES have USB.

Why would you want to mute a UPS? Kinda beats the whole point, right?

Once you're aware of an outage, it unnecessary to have to listen to an annoying alarm so it's nice to be able to mute it.

Exactly. And if you've ever had multiple UPS in a home or office, it's an unbearable cacophony of beeping.

I was looking at reviews on amazon and one review says this in it "The UPS app (available from website) is actually very useful: it allows you to control various settings on the unit, such as enabling or disabling the audible alarm, monitoring the charge percentage / estimated runtime, and, most importantly, automatically shutting down the computer before the battery is fully depleted. The app is available for both Windows and Linux (no macOS support).".
So maybe you can disable the alarm with the app as this person said in their review since it's missing a mute button.

the image shows that the power button acts as a mute button.

I'm done with lead acid APCs. The batteries fail too soon are are either very expensive to replace or can't be replaced.
