Redditers have received offer for another free BYOD line ID250385. Check your emails and T-Life to see if you qualify.

YMMV. If you qualify, you can add it without changing your plan. This is BYOD only; financing a phone is not recommended and you may lose your free line promotion.

I just checked mine while trying to add a line, "Limit reached you've reached the maximum number of lines you can add to your current plan"
Anyone know if there's a similar SOC that allows for additional lines?

Spoke with customer support representative, and she said the promotion expired lol. After few minutes, she switched to my account doesn't qualify. :-(

yes. definitely going to track this. i have other free lines on the account but this one was by far the easiest to get.
this one is also a little unique in that i asked about how my bill would change (line tax, regulatory, etc.) and the final sum was 40cents. i had her confirm it 2 more times. i pay taxes and fees on my other "free lines" in the amount of around 6 bucks per line. so i'll take 40cents any day. but now i just need to be extra cautious about what she added lol.
I would wonder if the 40 cents is prorated for the end of your billing cycle. I also pay about $5 or so for each of my free lines.

did u get text, email or tlife ad free line promo ?

No I did not, but neither did I for my other five free lines. App chat told me that at that current time that my account did not have the segment, but to check back later. I checked back later with a phone rep who confirmed that I had the segment for the free line, and the bogo as well. I passed on the bogo and they set me up with the byod free line.
How much time would you wait to check back? Because the first rep told me that I didn't qualify for the promotion but to check back because if I likely qualify for the last free line promotion I would likely qualify for this one. Then then the second rep I spoke to on that line someone posted said that only customers that were with T-Mobile for 10 years or more qualified for that discount or BYOD line promotion

Is this a physical SIM only deal? I couldn't convert this to an e-SIM I assume?
You can always convert to e-sim afterwards

fine print shows that other promotions not allowed with it thus you maybe giving up other discounts. Read the fine print. LIKE PRICE LOCK.. No thanks. I am locked in. Staying locked in.

May not be combined with some offers, discounts, or promotions including other service discounts, device offers, or Price Lock; choosing free line gives up access to Go5G Plus, Go5G Next, Experience More, and Experience Beyond device offer features for this line only. See rep for details. See Terms and Conditions (including arbitration provision) at www.T‑Mobile.com for additional information.

^^^ So this line isn't isn't really free if PRICE LOCK is removed from your other existing lines?
This promo apparently comes with caveats. I'm leaving well enough alone.

I was told this is a promotion for customer with T-mobile for 5 years or more, I have only been with T-mobile for 3 years and I couldn't get this free line. Can anyone verify? How do you get these free lines???

For those with single line Tmobile One w OnePlus promo qualify or not qualify as always?
You should know by now that a single line SOC only supports 1 line. For more lines, you need to move SOCs to the 2-8 line SOC of your plan. You won't get any free line promotions since your SOC only supports a single line.
What is SOC?

yeah why I didn't take the free line earlier this year. Just way to many gotcha now that could screw over the customer, especially use with legacy plans and promos attached.

I got an email from TMO and I am on simple choice and already have more lines than I even use. What's the benefit to having another even if it's free? Are they trying to pull a fast one in the fine print to screw us over? Clap
