Works ok, esp if you update the firmware, many previous threads on that.
Best cooling for the price, but some drives need more, can ziptie a regular heatsink if you have one laying around. Only the lid is metal, but that's still better than some in this price range.

Webpage/youtube has easy instructions on scheduling backup.
I mirror all my desktop ssds this way.

rsync -ahPvn --delete --force '/mnt/d/SOURCE/' '/mnt/e/TARGET/'
For a native command line tool already built into Windows, there is also robocopy:
robocopy "d:\SOURCE" "e:\TARGET" /mir /copy:dt /dcopy:dt
Both will fully copy metadata including directory timestamps, etc.
I got that one for basically nothing, its best use is temporary transfers/closing, never closing the case. Its so cost reduced even the board is shorted, usually the others have full length copper traces for some extra disappation.
This is the real slide on equivalent. https://www.target.com/p/orico-m-...1003146883 the screws are misleading as the entire clear top half slides off smearing the useless pad as the heatsink is undersized and overheats. The contact surface is at least flat, but its not enough to matter.
was the drive ever part of a storage spaces array?
On the amazon page they have the option of either the nvme or sata version of the orico for $16
