Does this work with Android TVs and/or Android TV boxes (e.g. Hisense or Sony TVs with Android/Google TV, Nvidia Shield TV box, etc.)? If so, seems like it could be a way to grant newer Bluetooth standard to older equipment.

My understanding is the codec that has the lowest latency is aptX LL(?)
And both the headphones and the receiver need to support aptX LL to get the low latency.
And most cheap receiver probably don't support it.
