if you would ever buy this, it would specifically be for the packaging (2 pills per pack x50 packs)

if you don't need that, the standard Advil bottle is the same thing without it, and is universally available for cheaper.

also, 200mg is the standard ibuprofen amount per pill. if you don't need name brand, it will be even cheaper.

Actually, this unit dose packaging is the same price or a little less than the bottle on Amazon.

Of course generics are cheaper, same can be said for Tylenol, Aleve, etc. But some people do prefer the name brands where pain relievers are concerned.

Finally, all things being equal or less, I'd much rather have these individual packs of 2 tablets, easy to keep in different places. You aren't always in your bathroom or kitchen when you need them and first and foremost they stay sterile this way rather than different members of your household putting their hands by the open bottle or sticking their fingers inside to get tablets out. Believe me, it happens.

im talking about this one here [amazon.com]. it comes out to about $0.02 less per piece. (on sale now, typically this would be a better deal) but you make a good point about the bottle, there is always that one person who doesn't know how to move the pill into the cap and then onto their hand without sticking their fingers into it.

oh sure, a 300 ct bottle will be a better per pill cost than the 100ct. I was just pointing out that the unit dose option in the OP is about the same cost as the 100 ct brand Advil bottle, and given the same exact cost of 100, I'd get the unit dose.

BTW, if you've ever been on the road and purchase this at a convenience store or airport shop, they charge you like $1.50-2 for just one of these 2ct unit dose packs.
