Decent quality tool when coupled with the 4ah battery, but not especially powerful. Useful for top of the engine and interior stuff but don't bother taking it under the vehicle expecting it'll break loose anything substantial

All of the 12V Skil line is on sale at Lowe's. Decent quality and compact. If I were to run into a DIY or homeowner looking for a whole new cordless set, this is hard to beat. Everything I saw was 29, 39 or 79 dollars and brushless. The drills and impacts are 49 with starter battery and charger. The tower light is nice and also comes with a battery and charger.

Their 6.5" circular saw is brushless and felt good in my hands. Good build quality and weight. Also only &39.

If I wasn't already comfortable with my M12 setup, I'd has started tossing some in my shopping cart.

I love my skil 12v stuff but the batteries are impossible to find right now for some reason. stay away from the brand until they figure it out.

honestly I had to buy a couple new batteries and I just bought on sale tools that came with the batteries because it was cheaper then the batteries themselves.

A decent DIYer tool if you are a condo owner this impact wrench with the ¼ adapter if you don't want to get an impact driverand have the best of both worlds. It's decent with the Skil 2Ah battery. I got a 6Ah aftermarket from Amazon and keep it in my car for emergencies.
This wrench has the power to remove lug nuts for a 2012 Jetta and 2023 Mazda CX9.
$90 more gets you the charger, 4Ah 20V battery and ½ anvil mid torque impact wrench that loosens 1000ft lb torque nuts and tighten up to 500ft lb.

you can find 2Ah batteries online and even buy aftermarket (non-OEM) 4 and 6Ah batteries on Walmart and Amazon online for under $50 each.

I'm not seeing the new style 4ah anywhere. and as far as I know they don't make a 12v 6ah.

There's a few aftermarket 6ah on Amazon, reviews seem good, but I haven't tried. Curious if they are better than the OEM 4a.

Lack of anything but 2 amp batteries at a reasonable price is my biggest gripe with the Skil 12v line. Their 12v lineup is excellent and they're the only budget brand making quality 12v tools, but 2ah 12v batteries are handicapping the lineup. Chervon always finds a way to dissapoint me with their marketing decisions.
