Just heading off the inevitable ask; both Tron films ARE MA compatible.

For those who want to purchase through Fandango, look into a service called Gift Card Exchange (GCE), formerly called, "Raise". They have an app and website that I've used for years. Fandango gift cards are pretty much always somewhere between ~12% - 20% off. I never make a purchase on Fandango without adding gift card credit to maximize my savings (digital or theater tickets). Well worth it if you use Fandango every now and then.

I enjoyed the second movie as much as the first but for totally different reasons.

This is a great movie to own in 4K, been waiting for it for a while. Going to rewatch it in IMAX in theaters soon too for its limited theatrical release.

Best day in elementary school was when they opened the gym after school and we got to watch the OG Tron on a big screen. That was far out back in '82!

So is this the remastered version which is supposed to drop at the end of the month, or just a 4K uprez? Disney had a big announcement that they restored Tron and Tron Legacy with HDR and Dolby Atmos in 4k, with repaired VFX in the original and cleaned up image definition. It's supposed to be a big deal. I have the steelbook preordered.

These promotional credits finally came in handy. $2 for me! I absolutely love this movie and have seen it countless times. New tron sequel looks horrible.

Just watched this a week ago. Intriguing, and great for late at night. Soundtrack also good for a night drive. I was on a long road trip earlier this year (having to leave at like 3am) and to fight the sleepies I listened to it.

Already had Legacy and the original Tron on AppleTV, but in HD. Bought them elsewhere previously, so no free 4k upgrade. Just bought them both on Amazon in 4k for 4.99/ea, which upgraded my AppleTV copies to 4k via MoviesAnywhere. Too bad Apple doesn't allow direct upgrades from HD to 4k for MA purchased elsewhere, but this workaround is another option to get them upgraded.

This digital copy is the same version you will get from the retail 4K disc.

the actor who plays the main character, sam flynn, is also in Tulsa King. took me a minute to figure why that guy looked familiar and realized it was the same guy. can't believe this movie is 15yrs ago!
