Was about to order two or three as I grew up in restaurants with spreaders. 4.6 reviews but always check the 1 star ones. These apparently are not dishwasher safe as they rust badly. Buy one that won't rust if dishwasher safe is as important to you as it is to me.

The pic of it in a hand makes it look small.

Says it's stainless steel but:

Product Care Instructions: Hand Wash Only

The knife was described as 10.5 inches. The knife I received is 7.5 inches.

It may be stainless steel coated or they are flat out lying if it is rusting. In either case that is a hard pass for me.

Perhaps it is the rivets in the handle that is rusting. You are not supposed to put anything with wood in the dishwasher.
