Yeah Weber is pricey but a wire brush isn't something I would personally skimp on for safety reasons.

They have similar ones at the dollar store. Not as nice but they're $1.50, not $10.

Yeah they also have cheap metal bristles that break off and get into food

The problem with those brushes from Dollar tree or other discount stores is that the metal bristles come off and may stick to the grill grates and then end up on your food. It's been documented many times. The Weber brand even though more expensive and also made in China don't. I would rather spend the extra dollars knowing that the bristles won't be on my food.

Been grilling for over 20 years on the Weber and used their bristle brush every single time. Never have I ever had a problem with the bristles breaking off and getting stuck onto the grates and food. I'm not saying it's 100% proof but I believe in their quality over the cheaper models. Plus replace them when they start to go bad and you should be fine.

This is a good deal for a Weber brush. I have used it before but without a doubt, Walmart has a brush called Expert grill stainless steel and nylon 3- head for $9.97. It is the best I have used in my many years of grilling. It is much better than the Weber.

Yes! I came here to say that. I have a Dollar store brush that I've been using for about 7 seasons now and it still works great. It may shed a bristle of two, but they fall through the grill (because it's a GRILL duh), and don't get in your food.

I use the Weber brand and honestly never had an issue with bristles coming off had it for 4 months.. before I used wood and other ways but honestly I gave up and used webers and I'm like yea this is great.. just still be cautious and follow the right procedures and you be fine
