Do people also put $2000 phone in $15 shorts / $25 jeans pockets? Charge $2000 phone with $3.99 USB-C cable and $20 charger?

The way I see it is if I can't afford to break something I just don't buy it. I haven't used a case in years, but I've also never broken a phone.

In case you were wondering... do people actually put their $2k phones in these cases? Probably. Maybe.

iPhones are built so well, you won't be able to break it with day to day usage. In use a case mainly to avoid scratches, not that I'm afraid it would break.

I'll sell this case to you for $50 if it makes you feel better. Case looks fine, just not marked up 500% like others.

Exactly! Most of these are all made in the same China factory just branded differently. These sub-$5 cases have worked great for me for all the iphones I've owned in the past. I refuse to pay more than $5 for an iphone case. Just sort all the Amazon results by price from low to high that offer Prime shipping and select the cheapest one that has at least a few decent reviews. I've noticed the ones that have thousands of reviews that are at least 4.5 stars are priced higher but you can find the exact same one just branded differently a lot cheaper because it's a relatively new listing or seller which doesn't have any additional risk since your buying through Amazon.

weird gatekeep. might as well not insure your car or house with that logic. actually if you haven't broken your phone on purpose before you upgrade, you can't really afford it can you? hand-me-downs and trade-ins for the poors, break it and contribute to E-waste

Actually, a decent case for the money. I bought it to try and figure out if I'd like the size of the Pro Max. The only thing I didn't like about it, it didn't have the camera control cover built-in.

First of all if you're paying 2k for any iPhone, PM me and I'll sell you one for half the price. Second cheap sub $10 cases work just fine. They are all made in China. Third, I get a case mainly for better grip because the iPhones may look nice but the grip sucks imo
