The way I see it is if I can't afford to break something I just don't buy it. I haven't used a case in years, but I've also never broken a phone.

The way I see it is if I can't afford to break something I just don't buy it. I haven't used a case in years, but I've also never broken a phone.
iPhones are built so well, you won't be able to break it with day to day usage. In use a case mainly to avoid scratches, not that I'm afraid it would break.

Exactly! Most of these are all made in the same China factory just branded differently. These sub-$5 cases have worked great for me for all the iphones I've owned in the past. I refuse to pay more than $5 for an iphone case. Just sort all the Amazon results by price from low to high that offer Prime shipping and select the cheapest one that has at least a few decent reviews. I've noticed the ones that have thousands of reviews that are at least 4.5 stars are priced higher but you can find the exact same one just branded differently a lot cheaper because it's a relatively new listing or seller which doesn't have any additional risk since your buying through Amazon.
