FYI, I have some of these in gray. I am a 9.5 extra wide and the 9.5 extra wide in this model of shoe runs extra big. It's a little bit longer than I thought and it's a little bit wider than normal.

FYI, I have some of these in gray. I am a 9.5 extra wide and the 9.5 extra wide in this model of shoe runs extra big. It's a little bit longer than I thought and it's a little bit wider than normal.

Agreed. The version of the shoe with Goodyear soles fits more snug and is more comfortable though. I didn't even notice when I bought the 2nd pair (the one not goodyear-branded) that they were different until I put them on.

So would you go for a 9 then if they run a bit big?Also can you walk comfortably with these? Looking for some affordable shoes for an upcoming trip.

They're comfortable. But with them oversized they get a bit floppy so I don't like doing a bunch of walking in them. I use them as work shoes around the house. I would probably buy one size down imo. But from what someone else here said, the new models have a different sole and might run true to size 🤷. If I was to buy another pair I'd buy one size down tho from my experience.

I own the khaki and ash grey of these and they have been my main shoes for the past 2 years. They are comfortable, but I don't wear them if I am going to be on my feet all day, as they do start hurting about halfway into the day at the amusement park. I got them online at Sam's Club when they were $19.81. I've seen them at my Sam's since then, but I don't recall them being that price again.

My feet are 9.5 Extra Wide and I have an older pair of Sketcher slipons in that specific size that seem to fit well. However, reading the feedback comments on the Amazon product page and here, it seems that Sketcher's new "relaxed sizing" approach has resulted in the shoes being too big... or at least bigger than the size indicated. So I've gone down to a 9 for this order.

Regarding width, I've stayed with the 2W option... even though the descriptions here and there both state that the "regular" size is actually 2E wide, when placed in the cart the 9 Regular shows as 9-D and the 9 Wide as 9-2W.

So my 9.5 Extra Wide feet are going into 9 Wides. Fingers.... well, toes actually.... crossed. Smilie
