No MLA panel on the 83 inch model, that would make it a no for me
That's true, but the refurbished 83" G4 is $3,269.99 from Woot. Do you think it's worth paying nearly 50% more to have MLA?

I guess it would depend on what you're upgrading from. If you are new to OLED or have a very old one, I can see it being worth the money. But the quality will essentially be like a C4 or C5 series. If you've never seen MLA in the G3 or G4, there is definitely a wow factor once you experience it. I've had oleds for years and if I upgraded now there's no way I wouldn't get an MLA or tandem. For an extra $1000 I would get the 83G4 and be set for the next 5-7 years

In the meantime, I was able to fix my QM8 by replacing the power supply board, so I will likely be testing the flexibility of Woot's return policy.

Not yet. Ordered on 9/27, shipped from CA on 9/30, and scheduled to be delivered to NJ on 10/7.
