I have found that the local fire department will no longer refill these for you. you have to call a 3rd company that provides this service. in my are its cheaper to buy a new new than to refill it at their rates.

If it's a commercial application there are contract services available to check and refill to keep your occupancy certificate.

If it's for the home, that's a bigger ask but you could check with your local/regional fire Marshall's office.

Maybe call and ask your fire department on their non-emergency phone number.

It costs more to recharge, it is better to trash it and buy a new one.

What does it mean rechargeable? Do they go useless once opened and put into use for something? Not recloseable after "portion use?"?

Just wait and the fire will burn itself out.

Has anyone found the price in warehouse vs. shipping? $30 shipped isn't that bad, but most of the time, the in-store price is a little less.
