WAG10 didn't work for me, so doing this deal online is no different than doing it in store, and I don't have to play games with the $10 min instore pickup total & the 10c mandatory bag fee per item (CA). Plus I know if an item is not in stock if I'm in the store looking at the different variations of the 20oz, so I can successfully mix-n-match.

In-store, the sale is for $2.99 for the 20oz Palmolive. The clipped coupon is still there if you type in your Rewards tele# -- but the CA tax is on the pre-coupon amount . There is also a shelf tag that says a $1 Register Rewards coupon will print out if you buy 2 (only works in store). A register receipt did not print out for me, but when I told them & they saw the sign, the manager just added $1 to my Walgreens rewards acct. So, the price would be $5.98+tax minus $2.50 + you get $1 Register Receipt coupon or a manually added $1 Walgreens rewards.

that was a lot for some palmolive! you can always refuse the bag. or move where the fees & taxes won't upset you so much.

It's not upsetting me that much, I'm just verbose Wink . I just wanted to be detailed in my experience to help others. The extra $1 for purchasing in-store is a bonus better than the WAG10 10% discount that I couldn't get.

Yeah, it makes sense to move to another state to avoid a ten cent bag charge. I bet people up and move immediately once they realize a plastic bag will cost them ten cents, not to mention tax! Better get packing now! You'll find a job and a new circle of friends easily.
