Original price: $239.99
The Kidoodle 3D printer for kids is now available with a $70 coupon on Amazon for $169.99.
This fully enclosed 3D printer has hidden moving parts, and it automatically shuts off and cools the nozzle if the door is opened to prevent burns. I think the full enclosure is one of the main reasons why someone might consider it instead of going for a "real" printer like an A1 Mini. It can still print anything you could print with a regular FDM printer out of materials like PLA as long as it fits the about 4"x4"x3.5" build volume. Prints can be started directly from the app without needing to slice or adjust any settings

If you don't care about the simplified ecosystem or have no need for the safety system, I would agree that you can get more features with equivalently priced printers on the market. I got this printer second hand for almost nothing and may have considered other options if I had to pay full price.
One correction to the 3rd photo above that says this printer has "auto-leveling" it absolutely DOES NOT HAVE AUTO-LEVELING. It has auto homing but you still need to manually level it by adjusting the bed's corner screws. As someone who had to do this a ton for an older Creality, the process is very similar but simpler because the bed is smaller.
