Would this be a good display if in building a racing Sim? Or do I not want curved or do I Want multi screen? This seems like it would tick a lot of boxes

You'd generally want curved and 32:9 screens like this are popular for sims.

I'm in the market for a new monitor but want to wait until the Micro Center opens in Phoenix so I can actually see it with my own eyes. But I don't think that store will open until 2026 and will miss the BF sales.

I currently have a Samsung LC49HG90 but the 1080 resolution doesn't cut it any more.

But if I upgrade I will also need to upgrade my GTX1080 VC.

I've seen the LG UltraGear 45GX950A-B 44.5" and I think I like the 21x9 form factor better. The 32x9 just doesn't have enough height and appears to be more problematic with games.

Decisions, decisions....

I'm not a gamer, but I value fast screen response, vivid colors, and good imagery.

I was contemplating this monitor, but rtings.com seems to like the Dell UltraSharp U4025QW and that has a 4K resolution which is a huge step up over 1440p.

What do you guys think between this monitor and that one?
Very different monitors, apples to oranges and aimed at very different markets. The RTINGS review really tells you all you need to know. IPS, bad response time despite 120hz, very poor local dimming (and HDR). It's better calibrated and better suited for office and professional work, which is what it's targeted at.

Get the G9 if you want OLED picture quality and are ok with OLED drawbacks. Get the Ultrasharp if you need it for productivity. Get the 57" Samsung if you want a compromise between both (still worse picture quality than OLED but much better for media than the Ultrasharp).

Aspect ratio is very different and the Dell is an IPS.
Speaking of the 57" I bought mine for 550 open box the other day.
Can you share where?
Best buy

LG WOLED are on my blacklist due to fringing and dithering.

I can't complain really. Dual 27 inch 2k qd oled monitors with 144hz for $600? That's not bad. I just want them at 2x resolution and a bit larger. It does look nice and sometimes I use it to watch those ultra wide movies. I would never consider an LCD monitor over oled so that 57 inch is a no go.
Where did u get it for $600? This post has it for $880
