What is the point of the classic?
Lower price point, since that seems to be all people want.
VS the OG Delta 3 Plus, it comes with fewer USB / AC power ports, no extra battery (or alternator charger) support, and only one 500W solar input (vs 2 on the OG).
Yup, this is a very basic battery backup. It removes some of the features of the regular Delta 3.
If I did not already have my Delta 2 I got last year for about the same price, I would get this.
I need something to power my refrigerator for 10-12 hours till I can get my generator hooked up. I don't care about solar input, adding batteries, usb ports, multiple outlets, alternator charging, etc. I need something I can plug into my wall and plug my refrigerator into and leave it there.

i guess these things don't provide protections against brownouts or dirty power so they are still not as good as traditional ups even if they provide longer on time?

how is it superior? This device is quite impressive.
It only sounds impressive until you actually compare it.

Go check the specs side by side.

And guess what? Today is your lucky day. The BLUETTI Elite 100 V2 is back on sale for early Prime Day. Just $399, with an extra $10 off using code ABQACATEST.

Not bad. Is there a side by side comparison between the 2 ? I can't seem to find any, the ones that claim to compare compare to the wrong models, not the classic

So if i connect a good surge protector strip into this, would this make it a pretty decent ups setup?

This deal cannot beat the $380 Bluetti Elite100 v2 last Prime day. Maybe they are giving it again with that price.

The Bluetti Elite100 v2 is far superior.
It is. Lack of 12v output really irritates me on this.

Minimal possible size and still run all your appliances. Most units used to max out at 1C discharge. So to run all your 1800w appliances, you needed a unit with about a 2000wh battery. But who needs to run a hair dryer, coffee maker, or power washer for an hour?So they figured out a way to get the discharge rate up to closer to 2C and chopped the battery in half. 30 minutes of run time but half the battery weight and size.
Truth. Oh no, power is out, time to curl and blow dry my hair!

The Elite100v2 has Cig lighter 12v 10A output AND a twin 5521 barrel connector output up to 8A.

The Elite100v2 also supports 1000w solar input, twice more than this 500w Ecoflow D3 classic.

Yes, I didn't specify. The Ecoflow dropped the 12v. Other ones did not. I really like the Pecron because they do 30amp 12v output, but their wonky MPPT doesn't support my solar panel configuration. Wish people would just throw a 30amp power pole on there as well. I do mostly DC loads, with occasional AC loads. That's a minority thing I realize. The AC200Max or AC200P, now discontinued, had that if I recall.

My Bluetti Elite100v2 is definitely not whisper quiet as Ecoflow River 3 plus.
Elite100v2 makes uneven fan or inverter noise even under 80W load. You can find the fan noise video on Youtube. (not sure about Delta 3)
The output power on the led screen shows very strange wattage for my TV, my TV consumes 70 watt but the Elite100v2 showed 110w.
My Ecoflow River 3 plus shows the correct output for my TV.
