Ever watch Matrix? How about 2, 3 and especially 4? Ghostbusters feminist edition? Oceans 8? Snow white? Incredibles 2? The last several Terminator movies? The last several Star Wars? Which is why I said usually. Sometimes, rarely, they make a good one and the remake is decent to not bad. The vast majority of the time, it just gets worse over time.
