Great price. Keep in mind this is a "Point Of Use" heater, not whole house. This is only enough for a sink and not even a showerhead.

Does it require any venting?

240v kills it, I don't know of any home with 240v near anything other than their washer and dryer.

Most shower heads are 2.5 gpm or below (many states topping out at 1.8 gpm for new fixtures) and this appears to be rated at 1.8 gallons per minute so would be doable or at worst case heating the water most of the way to hot (at full volume). Also you could install a low flow shower head or restrictor. If you don't have hot water at your shower already you aren't probably expecting an spa experience to begin with.

Now...getting 240v of electrical next to your shower is an entirely different discussion. Wonder how many people are going to buy this only to be really disappointed when they find out the electrician is going to charge thousands just to run the power?

Seems like this unit was built with Europe in mind and they shipped to the wrong side of the pond by mistake.....photo with the Eiffel Tower in the background kinda solidifies it Wink

FWIW, the best use case for this would be a sink or connected to a washing machine (in a country with 240v electrical)

Great price but "important note" about wiring is iffy. 7KW/240 = about 30 Amp. So requiring a double pole 40 Amp breaker is reasonable. But 12 AWG wire for 30 or 40 Amp is risky. You need 10 AWG for 30 Amp and 8 AWG for 40 Amp, and they are getting ridiculously expensive now with copper tariff. I think I will stick with a 120V/1500W with a small tank for my attic sink.
