Good price (I think this is the lowest it's been). Couple of notes:

SSD is m.2 SATA, not NVME
You should definitely repartition and reinstall Windows (if that's what you're planning on running). Don't want any possible spyware. Driver package is available on Kamrui's Chinese (not American) site.

Would factory reset good enough or need to have a clean install by a usb drive? How to re-use the windows license? Can you post the website urlfor the driver? Thanks

I would not assume a factory reset would do it. Windows will automatically license after install. I found the drivers here [kamrui.store] by Googling kamrui support site.

Nope if it's in the BIOS. Or it could be a hardware keylogger.

Nope. Reinstalling alone can leave nasty things on the recovery partition. Personally, I would delete all partitions, wipe the entire disk (with diskpart "clean"), and then install from fresh media.

Your Windows license is stored in UEFI. When you reinstall, the license gets picked up automatically.

Re: Comments about hardware keyloggers and malware "in the BIOS": No matter what hardware you get, there's always non-zero risk--unless you manufacture the chips and write your own firmware.

Hiding things in firmware is complex. To me, provided there's no confirmed report of this mfr doing shady things, there's no reason to assume danger. Of course, only you can decide if "not-zero risk" is tolerable. You can always spend the extra for ASUS if you need that peace of mind.

Wipe the SB keys in the BIOS and turn it on when you do the reinstall of Windows. Secure boot checks the signature of the boot loader, so if you have a legit Windows install it would be almost impossible to have any kind of malware in the BIOS.

You can expect no one would bother to temper with any BIOS in consumer devices. It is too expensive that doing it only make sense if it is targeting high profile targets or government agency.

still paranoid about using these non brand PCs . Although tempting low prices - the "What if" thoughts about malware or backdoor, always knocks me not to get these ... Doesnt windows defender catch any of these malware /spyware

I bought an mtek G10 and tried the fresh install and it screwed the whole unit. Apparently the graphic drivers are different than listed and when windows searches and installs it installs the wrong ones, same with the AMD installer. I plan to buy another one, but it was so bad I ended up returning after reinstalling multiple times.

I also thought so too. But if I just partition the SSD and reinstall Windows fresh from the official site, is there still any chance malware or spyware could remain?

If you're using it for low level stuff or for streaming, this is more than enough I bought a high-end B link with docking station capabilities, but then spent additional funds on a lower level mini forum for travel traveling
