Not buying another BioBidet after the last one I had. Hose burst overnight. I shut off the water and went to Home Depot looking for a hose replacement, but none of the hose threads matched up. Ended up having to throw out the bidet because I couldn't get a replacement hose. Apparently it's a metric / US thing. Don't know if BioBidet still only uses metric, but I'm not going to risk it again.

I've used units like this, and while they work well, gunk builds up underneath them, and you have to regularly take the toilet seat off to pull the unit up and clean underneath it. I finally got a spray gun style bidet, and it's awesome.

No it certainly is not. It is not heated, but that is only a minor inconvenience. It's not a shower.
Clearly you do not live in the same part of the country as me. Winter water temps come out of the tap in the 40s.
I live in Chicago area and I have used this kind of bidet for over 10 years now. Never have the need to go heated as long as your house is in normal temperature.
lolwut?
i use mine all year round and my foxhole is clean enough to eat off of.. wait, nevermind.
but seriously, i can never go back to just wiping. bidet is a level of clean you can't get otherwise
