I have two of these. Both have failed pumps that transfer water from front to the back. It'll error out if the drain plug isn't open and dripping freely below. Not impressed

I'm not sure if I would trust a pump to move water from the front to back. My last GE AC sucked. I got rid of it mid-summer because it would just stop cooling. I would have to turn it off for 10 min and hope the compressor would start back up.

I don't see any coupon on either one of my accounts. I would try it for $152 as the other poster got, but otherwise no.

I see where there is a 10% instead of 5% rewards if you have and use the Prime Visa to purchase. But I do not have an additional coupon showing up either. The complaints of noise, vibration and trouble installing on 2nd floor and above have me holding off. Hoping someone that has the 10k inverter model can add some experienced comments on here. Thanks for posting though ... looks like good price.

No coupon for me under a regular account or a student account but 10% cash back on prime card so 190 - $19, same difference almost.

As long as they aren't moldy

Most, if not all window acs, should be checked and cleaned regularly. The mideas are no exception to that, and the cost savings have been more than worth it.

Great price, but these U-shape under the window ACs are a design failure. Basically guaranteed mold on any unit like this. The U-shape above the window sill is a much better design.

They are, so are the Hi Sense U ones which are basically the same exact unit as the Midea. You have to clean/spray once a month, definitely not just set it and forget it.

There are tablets you can put in the drain tray to reduce slime and make it easier for the sump pump. Or you can use Chlorox periodically.
