Be aware that the louvers are NOT water tight. They can handle light rain but with heavy rain they will sag down and start dripping. Everything will get wet under heavy rain.

In California most counties will require a permit if it goes above 120sqft

Costco had these earlier this summer for $1900 which I think was best price ever, and that needed a membership. I missed out on that and bought one for 2100$ from Wayfair a few months back and that was a good deal at the time. this is straight from the mfg and $1500, just really good based on my tracking for the past 6 months.
I got in on the deal the first week they had this for $1400 in store. I think it was $1900 from costco.com

In for one, tired of buying and hanging the cloth shades for the South facing deck. Will just install blocking between the joists for something to screw to.

Wow, that's really not bad. About how long did it take them to put it up? I'd much rather have paid that than having to deal with rehanging shade cloth every time it gets windy out.
All the task-for-hire places near me in New England wanted $800+. I built it with my father in law in ~6hrs leisurely over 2 days

Any idea if this would fall under or over 120sqft for these permits? The covered area under the pergola is slightly less than 120sqft, but obviously the exterior is close to 130sqft given the 10x13 dimensions.

That's more of what I was expecting. Descriptions put this as taking the better part of a weekend to do, so I assume someone must have really underbid that contract.

This looks exactly like the pergola I bought on Temu except mine was 10x20 and it WAS Hommowus "brand" when I purchased it. When I click the link to buy again is says brand "Bupplee". Either way my pergola has does great in heavy rain. The only time I get water underneath is when the rain is going sideways. Btw when I got the owners manual it listed the product number. After googling the product number, my product was listed on Walmart, Amazon, etc under various brand names

I wanted to buy, but i see the difference between 111SR and 111DA(which was sold in Costco) is the one on sale SR is hybrid of aluminum and steel and it is low rating for heavy winds and also 1 year lesser warranty. Since i am from a state, where tornados are more common, i want to wait for the DA version.

I would love to find one that would cover my whole 18' x 18' patio, any recommendations?
They sell a 20x10. That's the one i have. You can open each side on their own.

How much was it from Temu?
